An artist I admire is my former piano teacher, the late Dr. Eugene Alcalay. He was an incredible pianist and teacher who greatly enriched my musical career. He inspired me through the passion and integrity he showed in his piano playing. I will always remember how he taught with immense care, intelligence, and encouragement. Beyond teaching, his love for God, people, and music shined through his personality, words, and life. Through him I learned how to mature as a musician and as a person.
I admire Dr. Alcalay, and his legacy continues to motivate me on my musical journey.
